Care 2 Communities saves lives

We bring affordable, sustainable primary health care to communities in the developing world

Northern Haiti

In addition to comprehensive health care services, our clinics provide health education and outreach – ensuring that we are improving overall health in the communities and empowering mothers with the knowledge they need to take care of their children. Health education includes free sessions focused on nutrition, general wellness, breastfeeding, and other community-specific issues.

Acul du Nord, Haiti

Acul du Nord is located about forty-five minutes southwest of Cap-Haitien by car.  There are about 50,000 people in the community.  The C2C clinic, opened here in May 2015, provides families access to high-quality primary care at an affordable price.

“It’s good to have this clinic in the community.  I hope that it can continue to advance on and on.  I used to have to pay for transportation to go to Limbe.  I’ll continue to come here, and to recommend C2C to other people.”

Camp Coq, Haiti

Camp Coq is located about an hour and a half southwest of Cap-Haitien by car. By tap-tap (Haitian shared taxi) or bus, it takes much longer. There are about 20,000 people in the community, and the C2C clinic offers the only doctor for many miles. Our clinic, opened here in 2013, provides high-quality primary care for families at an affordable price.

“I visited the clinic last week and am back today to thank the doctor and nurse. I have traveled many times to the hospital in Limbé, but have never gotten well because the doctors just wanted to be done with me. The doctor here took the time to listen to me and give me the correct medicine, and now I am better!”
